CCBot Mobile Edition Is Now Available on iOS and Android
In May we described what we were building. CCBot Mobile Edition has since launched: a single, free app that brings together the CCBot installations you follow, with the same cited answers you get on the web.
What shipped
Until now, people reached CCBot through whichever website or portal it was embedded in. That works well for visitors to a single site, but not for someone who relies on several CCBot-powered knowledge sources and has to remember where each one lives.
The app solves that. Open it, see the CCBot installations available to you, choose the ones that matter, and start asking. A user might follow one installation for public information, another for institutional knowledge, and a third for a specific project.

Governance stays with the organisation
The app is a new way in, not a different set of permissions. Each installation keeps its own scoping, source policies, allow and deny lists, and retention rules. If your organisation runs CCBot, what mobile users can reach and ask is still governed by the configuration you control.
That distinction matters for public-sector deployments in particular: mobile access broadens who can reach published knowledge without widening what the assistant is allowed to answer from.
Supported devices
CCBot Mobile Edition requires iOS 15.1 or later and runs on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. The Android build is available for phones and tablets through Google Play. The app is published by EWORX S.A., the company behind ContentCloud.
What is next
Voice interaction is still in development rather than released. When it ships, you will be able to speak to CCBot from your phone and get answers in a more conversational flow, which helps when typing is inconvenient. We will announce it here along with the languages supported at launch.
Terms and privacy
CCBot and CCBot Mobile are covered by a dedicated consumer legal pack: the end-user terms, a consumer privacy notice, and a device-storage disclosure covering local caching and optional analytics. All three are linked from the CCBot Mobile Edition page.
